Introduction to Lino Printing (Cambridge)

Join Emily in this exciting beginners workshop where you will learn how to turn your favorite image or photo into a beautiful art print through the art of lino carving. Emily will be there every step of the way to guide you through the process, from tracing and transferring your image to deciding which sections to keep and which to carve out using cutting tools safely. 

You will have the opportunity to experiment with colored paper and even create your own unique greetings cards using your prints. If you have any specific shapes or images in mind, feel free to bring them along for inspiration. However, there will be plenty of imagery to choose from on the day.

Make sure to wear clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy, as lino carving can be a bit of a hands-on process. Aprons will be provided for your convenience. You can bring a container to take home any extra prints, or leave them behind to collect later.
