Glazing mediums increase the flow and transparency of the glazing layer in your acrylic paint.
Depending on if you use the matt or gloss glazing medium you will get varying degrees of a gloss finish. You are best off mixing the glazing medium with the transparent colours of acrylic paint. When the glazing medium is wet it is white but it will dry clear. It will reduce the drying time slightly and is also waterproof once dry.
