Amsterdam AAC Gesso is used as a preparatory layer on absorbent surfaces providing a good adhesion for acrylic and oil paints on canvas wood plywood hardboard cardboard and paper. Also suitable for preparing murals on fresh concrete stucco and brick it can be mixed with acrylic paint thinned with water and mixed with other Amsterdam gessoes. Very absorbent surfaces must first be pre-sized with an acrylic binder.
- Amsterdam Transparent Gesso is a universal preparatory layer suitable for painting various absorbent grounds.
- Suitable as preparation for murals on (alkaline) grounds such as fresh concrete, stucco and bricks.Waterproof when dry.
