Sketching Character Buildings in Watercolour With Jeff Carter (Cambridge)

Join Cambridge urban artist Jeff Carter on this fun and engaging class where we’ll sketch and paint houses in a whimsical and wonky style! Jeff will show you how to look for the personality and character in buildings and how to bring this into your sketch. Depending on the weather, we may gather first hand research nearby making our sketches and taking photographs of buildings of interest. We’ll explore techniques to bring life and energy to your sketch and then develop our skills in using fine liners and watercolour. Jeff is an experienced teacher and coach and this class is for any ability from beginners to advanced level. Bring along a photo of your house or one that you’d like to sketch.
