Painting Birds in Watercolour With Denise Schoenberg (Cambridge)

Denise will give demonstrations throughout the day for two bird projects and provide step by step instructions on how to paint them. The first project will be painting a small Blue Tit and the second a larger portrait of a Heron. 

The birds will be painted using the traditional pure watercolour techniques of wet on wet, dry on dry and wet on dry. There will be the option to use masking fluid.The day focuses on painting, so sketches of the birds will be provided with a Lightbox so the images can easily be traced on to the watercolour paper.
