Winsor & Newton Winton Oil Colour is a versatile range of high-quality oil paints offering strong pigment concentration and excellent colour intensity. The colours are formulated using high-quality pigments combined with linseed oil, safflower oil and alkyd resin. This creates a smooth, consistent paint that handles well and dries evenly.
High Pigment Load and Consistent Handling
Winton Oil Colour offers a strong pigment load, giving the paints excellent covering power and useful colour strength. The range has a more uniform consistency than Winsor & Newton Artists' Oil Colour and is slightly stiffer, allowing it to hold visible brush and palette knife marks particularly well.

Over 40 Intermixable Oil Colours
The Winton range includes more than 40 colours, all of which can be intermixed to create a much broader selection of hues, tints and shades. This makes it easy to build a practical oil painting palette around a smaller selection of core colours or add individual shades as required.
The range is available in sizes from 37ml through to larger 200ml tubes, making it suitable for everything from occasional painting and palette building to larger-scale studio work.
Lightfast and Permanent Colour
Winsor & Newton selects permanent pigments wherever possible within the Winton range. The formulation and manufacturing process are designed to keep the paint stable in the tube while also producing a durable and permanent paint film once applied.
