BOTANICAL WATERCOLOUR FOR BEGINNERS With Janie Pirie (Cambridge)

Come along to learn the basics of watercolour techniques used to create a botanical illustration. The workshop will take you through laying down simple glazes, merging colours, getting good gradations, adding fine details and so much more. Your tutor, Janie Pirie, is an RHS gold medallist and a Fellow of the Society of Botanical Artists. Subject matter for the day will be provided unless you have something you want to bring along instead. All subjects should be simple (fruit, vegetables, leaves or uncomplicated flowers).
